End to End Process

ENJOY A BUILDING JOURNEY LIKE NO OTHER

Your coast journey

From the start to the finish

When using project home builders, you are often unable to move into your home at the end of the build. Finishing touches such as main floor coverings, landscaping, fencing, window treatments are all ‘by owner’, and to be completed after you receive your keys.

Organising multiple suppliers and tradesmen to carry out these tasks becomes an annoying delay to moving into your brand new custom home. People can also discover that they have not allocated enough in their budgets to allow for the ‘full finish’ of their new home.

Here at Coast, our residential builders in Perth work with our clients to help them choose how little or how much they want us to include in their homes. We can provide options for a full home fit-out, so that all you need to do once you have received your keys is organise your removalists to bring in your furniture.

Making sure you can finish your home completely is also important to us. We will discuss the costs to complete your home early in the journey, so that you can feel comfortable about your overall budget.

Our small home builders team in Perth will keep you fully informed and engaged every step of the way, and are happy to work with any of your selected trades to ensure a smooth and stress-free ‘end to end’ building experience.

As boutique custom residential builders in Perth, we have the flexibility and collaborative approach to ensure you maximise your investment in your new home – from helping you select the right block, and organising demolition, right down to where your clothes line will go!

1. Getting to know you

Meet with one of our team members for an informal chat to help us better understand your new home ideas and discuss options you may not have considered. We explore different layouts, design ideas, interior and exterior styles, and review any photos you may have collected along the way.

2. Planning and budgeting

This is where we drill down a bit further to help align your vision with what can be achieved within your budget expectations. We talk through each element of the home and provide an accurate assessment of the total building budget. We then set out some realistic time frames for potential delivery of your new home to help you plan the transition from your old home to your new one.

3. Bringing it together

Our designers, architects and custom home builders in Perth now get to work by taking all of your ideas and bringing them together in one or more design concepts. We look at how to utilise the best aspects of your block to maximise its solar passive potential and take advantage of the orientation for any views or outlook. You have total flexibility and creativity, and by working together with our team we continue to create and rework designs based on your feedback and input as we go. Only once you are totally satisfied with the design outcome for both the floor plan and front elevation style do we move on to the next stage of finalising the building and site-related costs.

4. Approvals and permits

We provide a detailed breakdown of all building costs and any optional features or inclusions for your consideration and approval. This can include a full turnkey ‘move in’ option to take the stress away from finishing the home yourself. We then take your new home design through the entire local council approval process and fulfil all requirements to achieve the appropriate planning and building approvals. Nothing is missed, every detail is considered and we leave nothing to chance.

5. The finer detail

While waiting for council approvals, we get started on the finer details of selecting colours, materials, looks and interior styling. Our interior design team are on hand to provide plenty of inspiration to help bring your ideas and individual style together and create the overall look you’re after. There is still plenty of opportunity to fine-tune, adjust and tweak the final design to make sure we have it absolutely right for you.

6. Building works

Before building works kick off, we are there to coordinate all pre-construction work, including demolition, if required, and to plan out each phase of your new home build. Your building supervisor is always on hand to answer any questions and coordinate site meetings with our trade professionals. Our Coast team will keep you fully informed and engaged every step of the way, and are happy to work with any of your selected trades to ensure a smooth and stress-free ‘end to end’ building experience.
