About THE SILKWOOD
Our design team was challenged to deliver different, deliver value and most importantly, deliver a large home for a growing family – on just a 13 metre frontage. The Silkwood’s elevation, whilst contemporary, subtly presents characteristics true to the Palm Springs style of the mid-century. Natural stone cladding is used on the entry blade wall to maximise street appeal.
The ground floor features slate look porcelain tiles and collaborates perfectly with design features such as the living room’s timber panelling, and the strong lines and textural materials of the classic, mid-century inspired kitchen. Large glass stacker doors open to the voluminous outdoor entertaining area and the curved above-ground, Palm Spring’s style pool, cladded in pacific bluestone tiles, this stunning feature is the centrepiece for days and nights of summer fun.
Upstairs the master bedroom rewards its owners with a five-star style walk-in-robe featuring customised cabinetry, LED lighting and space for literally everything. The ensuite exudes luxury with a stunning freestanding bath and vertical, heated towel rails.
